Such a fantastic fun packed Easter .... Matilda has been training very hard with Cherry and we've had a few moments from Cherry where she hasn't been wanting to play ball. Matilda has persevered and has had some amazing results. I will cover Matilda's story separately as she has done soo much..

HRH has been running at full steam ahead with the events being very successful and full of wonderful horse and rider combinations...

We had our second evening clear round and what a turn out!!! We were running from 15:30 - 21:30 with no time in between.... It was an absolutely fantastic evening with everyone having a super time and achieving what they came to do. Absolutely loving the Thursday night club!... The proof of how it has helped people with their confidence and to achieve their personal goals is definitely in the pudding with one horse and rider combination... I'm sure they won't mind me mentioning......

They started last year struggling with their nerves (I mean really struggling -to the point of not wanting to do it) to jump the 65cm and they have continuously attended HRH Thursday night clear round and I have to say what an improvement. They attended their first jumping show at HRH last week and were hoof perfect and nailed it, taking home first place in the 80 & 90cm classes!!!!! Not only that, we also popped in a little Chase me CharIie after one of the shows, this combination also smashed 1.15m strutting home with 2nd place!! WOW! I am so pleased to have been a part of their journey up to now and hope to be able to watch and be a part of their continued growth. JUST BLOOMIN' BRILLIANT!!!!! As you will see the rosettes are just as wonderful with the added bonus of one of our wonderful sponsors Whicker.uk.com - If you haven't already, you should definitely give these a go... Once you've tried them and had proof that your hat is preserved and it'snot minging to put onto your head after a hot ride, you will never look back... trust me!!!

We have had both our jumping and dressage shows and these have been a super success. We have greeted many new faces and had a super time...Again, being able to be a part of so many peoples achievements and good times... If we have this continued support and fun over the summer, it is DEFINITELY going to be a very good one!

We have had the added bonus of LRG photography attending the shows and they've managed to capture some very special moments creating great memories. Thank you for that guys..

I took an unscheduled dismount off HRH Big D, which was slightly painful and not so pleasant. He had flying lessons booked rather than a steady walk and trot around the school. Resulting in me face planting into the sand and him then kicking me in the leg as he bucked and farted off!! Nice one D!!! After spitting out lots of sand and blood and checking my teeth were still in tact. The pain of the leg kicked in.... I have been sporting a very colourful leg with a particularly beautiful haematoma since. It's proving to be quite painful and has put me out of riding action for a couple of weeks... Hopefully not too long before I can get myself back in the saddle and out there doing what I love...

My little people and a friend spent a day out at Ash Place riding school, Fergus having not ridden for over 18 months and Freddie not been ridden for the same amount of time. (He has been lunged and long reined in this time). Matilda was taking Freddie, not the little man - that wouldn't have done my nerves any good! I drop them off to go on a pizza ride, thinking Fergus will be attached to another human and their horse... to then see them (all 21 of them) set off down the road towards the bridle path- Fergus with no lead... Arrggh!!!.... I now am extremely hot under the collar and feeling very sick - I may have even had a little sick in my mouth....... I call and check a couple of times that they are OK and there was really no need. They had an absolute blast and desperate for the next one!

They ventured back for another day of clear round jumping with a friend and what a super day. Matilda took Cherry but Fergus and Montana rode school ponies and Wow!!! I was sooo impressed!!!! Not one of those ponies put a hoof out of line, they knew they had a job to look after the little people and they excelled at it!!!! I massive hats off to Chloe Finch & Lynsey Merritt, i will definitely be recommending you to friends, sooooo impressed!!!

We had a superb Dressage to Music clinic @HRH on Sunday and what a huge success that was! We had Amanda Louise Birch come in and give great advise and technical heads up to the riders and how to get the best out of their horses and helping them come together with their horses to perfect their dance moves... Amazing feedback from the riders and we hope to get her booked in again as soon as she has a slot!!! Huge thanks to Amanda and to those who came along! What a fantastic experience.

We have been run ragged and not stopped, but I have to say it has been the most fun packed two weeks with super happy children and a ridiculously tired me!!!!

LOVING LIFE and LIVING THE DREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
